FFXII Vid: Precious

This is one of my older videos (quite obvious from the poor quality cutscenes), and I think it is about time that I upload at least one of my Basch x Ashe video tribute to my journal. Seem to me, its been a while since I made a Basch/Ashe video, and I still think this fandom, generally lacks of it. Shall make another one soon, with them singing a duet. Any suggestions? X3

Some time ago, the sweet and patient artemischan wrote a fic-bit with the prompt "Precious" for me (and answered to my many outrageous request), thank you very much, dear. I still melt over it whenever I read it again XD

Heee... this was made months ago, though it wasn't my first Basch/Ashe video, I have another one but I wanted to rectify some mistakes first before I post it up here again. That was my first FFXII AMV and in fact, my very first AMV, so I have a softer spot for it ^^

I think you're slowly turning me into a BaschxAshe fan...(since it made me go 'sweet' and '^___^' numerous times throughout...XD)

That vid was cool, despite said low quality. Music was real nice ^_^ Though my eyes couldn't quite handle the faded cross-overs, I suppose that's only what let it down for me anyway.

It makes me want to go make some fanart...hmm...

I... I did? Hooray!!! No, seriously, it really pleases me to hear that XD I know you enjoy Penelo/Larsa but I don't know how you feel about the Basch/Ashe pairing. I insist on continue brain-washing you further ^_^

Hmmm... cross-over transitions are a general norm for slower songs, but I think the eye-sore was the ending montage, right? At that point, I'm practically lost at what to do with the ending of the song, and end up putting all the remaining Basch/Ashe scenes there.

... I shall cry if you decide not to draw or keep to yourself T_T You can't tease me like that and run off...

When I first read a Basch/Ashe fic I was like O_o it'd never work, but now I don't know...
But generally I like any pairing as long as there's references that it could work; like Larsa/Penelo's friendship in-game could be played - and has been done - into an eventual relationship. You get my drift? ^_^

Brain washing? I'm quite scared. What are you going to do, lock me in a room with Basch/Ashe like everywhere? o_o;

Yeah, it was after 55 seconds (to go, that is) which made my eyes go weird...though I understand where you're coming from.

If I had to draw in a life or death situation, I would die a very miserable and stick-figured one. XD Though I can draw reasonably cute chibi characters...sometimes. ^_^;
When I have some free time (it's probably going to be at the weekend - I go back to 6th Form College Wednesday :( ) I promise you at least a Basch/Ashe Photoshop. I'll try for something more original though first... ;)

Yes, I agree, unless the fics have some substance and reference to the original game, it is quite hard to accept some of the story lines where it just seems random, and the character went complete OOC. I'm quite open to any pairing, but the authors would have to convince me first, and that's the hardest part, but once I'm caught, I down with hook and sinker.. I do hope that this fic manage to convince you about the pairing :)

Far worse, my idea of conversion is quite simple, actually and very effective. I simply ramble on until you have no choice but to agree with me that the match was made in heaven, and that nothing else would work. I do not lock people in rooms and torture them but my sister had to go through brain-washing sessions with me whenever we were stuck in a traffic congestion. ^^

Now, you certainly can't back off now, not when you've teased me so badly about what your latest project XD I look forward to whatever you have in mind, and even happier when I know it is related to Basch/Ashe...

And chibi Basch/Ashe does seem like a good idea, I have one drawn by my sister (though they only have dots for eyes and Ashe both of them are chubby - Ashe would be screaming at me about mutilating her sexy figure). I'll probably upload it one of these days XD

I love this vid, you know that hee hee. Anyways, I think a good song for them to sing as a duet would be "come what may" from moulin rouge ^_^

Great mind thinks alike. I had that in mind as well (since I definitely love that song to bits - and maybe Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor does play a role too).

But when I played the song, I realize that there were many moments where they were holding on to the notes... so it's quite hard to lip-synch them, unless I ignore it. Hmm, I still haven't make the attempt yet, so it's too early to decide now.

Also, sorry about the drabble and icon. Shall complete it as soon as possible and send it to you ^^
