FFXII Vid: At World's End

By right, I should have post this video here earlier, since it was created and uploaded to youtube.com a while ago. Well, technically, its debut to public was on the same day as the "The Saga Begins" video, and that was quite long ago. And from the summarization of hits in youtube and comments, general public seem to be favouring Pirates over Jedi Knights. I wonder why?

Personally, I find this video amusing and I can't help it if I actually like the original trailer and background music. Speaking of which, does anyone actually know the what was the music used in the sword-fighting scene between Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones?

Still, I've got to admit the grandest moment of this video was during Basch/Will's line. I won't change it even if someone points a canon at my face.

If that truly happens, POTC/FFXII would be an even bigger blockbuster than the original movie. Though it'll be quite hard to convince Balthier to put on dreadlocks and grow a goatee. But that's quite a lovely thought ♥

And honestly, the best part of creating this video is that I hardly have to lengthen or quicken certain scenes, everything sort of lip-synch itself and it was quite easy to work with, once the scenes were selected.

They are all born for the role! ;3

Heh, Barbossa was the whole reason I sat through At World's End twice. Screw Jack and Will. (I also lol'd good at the Ashe/Basch part over the speakers. :D)

I mean, if it was a Kingdom Hearts fic... that has both Final Fantasy characters and POTC as canon. Eek, plot bunnies!

Honestly, I didn't really like Barbossa that much in the first movie, but seriously he was the best thing to happen in AWE. Without him, I would have slept thru the movie as well.

And the Basch/Ashe moment... I wanted Barbossa/Ondore sealing the marriage as well ;)

If only there were KH3... with FFXII crossover and POTC... ::raises the banner of support for the plot bunnies:: Attack her!

All right, in reality it was quite painful and not as lovely as it sounds. 10 hours of laborous production, many cans of soda (lost count), a few death threats to the computer, and a pair of eye-bags. But it was worth it, if you guys out there, enjoyed it in the end :D

I'll stress my point that they are born for the roles, they lip-synch themselves most of the time after the corect scenes were selected. And heh, though the trailer with the war and death scenes were suppose to be tragic and intense but with FFXII, it ends up becoming a comedy ;)

Oh... I don't know Maria, I really don't know. I suppose hanging out with inspiring, diligent and wonderful writers on a constant basis does contribute one's mental development on creativity ;D

Also, the stubborn and insistant trait of forcing Basch to mouth the words of truth towards his beloved, does create wonders at times :)

Funny thing is that the scene that you've mentioned was the easiest scene to work in. Not touch up, nothing, it just put it together and voila, it works!! XD
