So in the effort of trying to be more organised when it came to fic writing, I got a copy of Scrivener and finally decided to test it.

It was a bit of an uphill battle trying to figure out how to make things work and organise them. But now that I've figured out a system that works for me, I am so loving it. LOVE. IT. I honestly like how simple the interface is. I am pretty much treating it like a normal word processor with additional organisational functions that allows me to view and navigate seamlessly between individual chapters (instead of having to open each individual file to view a single chapter). Loving the corkboard too cause I feel a sense of accomplishment.

I am sure there are other features that I could use, especially when it comes to filing my research and all that, but that can come later. I would really like a sticky note/comment function so that I can attach notes to certain segments that need more attention but it is not a huge issue. (Edit: Found the comment/annotation function, am happy now.)

But yes, I have heard of this program 10 years ago (and some good user experiences) and I am beginning to wonder why did I not try to make use of it.

Otherwise, I am really loving writing the interaction between teenage Noah and Penelo. The parts leading up to it, not so much. :/ My notes are actually longer than the actual fic and that needs to change.
