*sigh* Poor you... I'm fortunate enough not to have such an experience (of walking through 3 department stores), though I had similar cases where I sit for hours waiting for my mother throwing on one outfit after another.
I can shop for hours but only in bookstores, and most of the time were spent browsing or thumbing books that caught my interest. Otherwise, like you, it takes about two hours for me to pick up the stuff that I actually need ^^
