Most times when I try to write myself out of my self-written grave, I either butcher the story into pieces or dig myself further in :D Do you learn Japanese as well? I think it's a great subject to learn at school. The only real problem I have is structuring the sentences properly.
Do you mean you're better with the longer ones? I had a look at your fanfic.net account last night, but I didn't have much time to, so I looked at the shorter story you wrote. I think I am better with one-shots, or short chaptered stories. And most of them end with pretty lame cliffhangers.
