Sorry took awhile to get here, but dinner called and I was the chef! XD
This banner is gorgeous by the way.
On the subject of King Arthur earlier, the film I was talking about was erm, none other than "King Arthur" XD With Kiera Knightly. It didn't do well in the box offices, and my family (who are the worst critics) boo'ed it as well. I'm alright with it, but the Keira wearing that make-up out of the Jungle, looking like Sheena made me raise my brows.
As for what you said earlier on not liking the Bal/Ashe due to OOC most of the time - yeah, it can happen. Because from what I've noticed, is that many writers can get Balthier down right - many! And that's in every pairing with him - slash or not. However, Ashe is the most difficult to accomplish in my opinion. I've seen it everywhere. Sometimes, it's reduced to another version of Rinoa/Yuna from FFVIII and FX-2,FX. Those characters are great in that fandom, but Ashe is trickier to do.
So, yeah I understand where you're coming from ^_^ And it's really hard in every fandom where even the most accomplished writer (who has written so many stories) can get characterization bad.
I've seen it everywhere. Even in the oldest fandom: HarryPotter, many writers have diverted to making, for example, Draco/Hermione or Draco/Ginny fics as Draco who is this bad ass gorgeous Spike-from-Buffy verse character, when he's not. He's a whiny, scared boy. But, that don't matter in a huge fandom like that. In smaller fandoms, it's harder to get away with it. XD
About our conversation on Noah/Pen story arc - ohh please do tell what you're going to do! If you ever have time, I'd love to see what you have as a set up.
